DAY 1: ARUSHA
Arriving in Arusha, you are immediately embraced by the cool, fresh air and lush, green foothills of Mount Meru. Your lodge offers a serene sanctuary, a perfect place to acclimatize. As the sun sets, the distant sounds of the city mingle with the anticipation of your upcoming safari adventures, setting a tranquil tone for the remarkable journey that lies ahead.
DAY 2: LAKE NATRON
Venture into a stark, dramatic landscape dominated by the active Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano. This alkaline lake is a flamingo nursery, a pink hued spectacle against the baked earth. Trek through a rugged river gorge to a hidden waterfall oasis, a refreshing contrast to the surrounding, raw volcanic terrain that defines this unique and unforgettable region.
DAY 3-4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

You arrive at the crater’s rim, where misty clouds swirl, unveiling breathtaking views into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera below.
DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER – LAKE EYASI
Descend the steep crater wall into a wildlife packed microcosm. Spot the Big Five, including the elusive black rhino, on the fertile crater floor. After a picnic lunch beside a hippo filled pool, you ascend and journey to Lake Eyasi, a vast, seasonal salt lake nestled dramatically within the Great Rift Valley’s escarpment.
DAY 7: LAKE EYASI – MATERUNI WATERFALLS
Join the Hadzabe Bushmen at dawn for an immersive, ancient hunting and gathering experience. Their click language echoes through the bush. Later, visit Datoga blacksmiths, observing traditional metalwork. Then, travel to the lush slopes of Kilimanjaro, trekking through a vibrant coffee farm to the majestic Materuni Waterfall, where you can swim in the cool, misty pool.
DAY 8: MATERUNI – KILIMANJARO – DEPARTURE
Awaken to the crisp mountain air and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak. Enjoy a final, hands on coffee tour, tasting the freshest brew. After a traditional Chagga lunch, you begin your transfer, reflecting on a journey from flamingo shores and predator-filled plains to cultural encounters and waterfall mist, concluding at Arusha Airport or your hotel.
